SATHAPANA, adhering to its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, committed to enhancing digital financial literacy among its clientele. In fulfillment of this commitment, SATHAPANA delivered the Digital Financial Literacy Awareness (DFL) program to clients from its branches in the Bago region—Bago, Waw, Indagaw, and Daik-U—from May 16th to May 27th, 2024. The program was designed with the following objectives:
- To enhance clients’ capabilities in managing income, expenditure, and loans more effectively.
- To educate clients on digital financial literacy, enabling them to keep pace with contemporary advancements and requirements, and to reap the benefits of digital financial systems.
- To promote financial inclusion, ensuring broad-based participation in the financial ecosystem.
This initiative was executed in collaboration with AYA Pay, which also provided guidance on utilizing AYA Pay for loan repayments and a total of 356 clients participated in the DFL program. All participants are treated with snacks and beverages, and gift items are also distributed to each and every participant as tokens of remembrance.
