Ms. Hnin Wit Yee Appointed to the Executive Committee of the Myanmar Microfinance Association (MMFA) 

We are pleased to share that our Chief Operations Officer, Ms. Hnin Wit Yee, has been elected to serve as a member of the Executive Committee of the Myanmar Microfinance Association (MMFA). The appointment was confirmed during the Association’s Annual General Meeting held on February 23, 2026. 

Ms. Hnin Wit Yee joined SATHAPANA Limited in June 2018 and has since played a significant role in strengthening the organization through her extensive experience in the microfinance industry. She holds a Bachelor of Economics (Statistics) from Yangon University of Economics, as well as a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the same university. In addition, she earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC). 

With more than ten years of professional experience in Myanmar’s financial sector, Ms. Hnin Wit Yee has previously contributed her expertise to several respected financial institutions, including United Amara Bank and Ayeyarwady Bank. 

Her strong leadership, industry insight, and professional commitment position her well to support the initiatives of MMFA, enhance cooperation among stakeholders, and contribute to policy dialogue and advocacy efforts with regulators when appropriate.
