Ngwesaung, March 2026 โ SATHAPANA Limited officially launched its next chapter of growth during the Branch Management Workshop (BMW) 2026, held at Ngwe Saung Yacht Club & Resort. The workshop served as a critical alignment point for the companyโs leadership, focusing on a transition from foundational growth to high-performance maturity.

The event opened with a stirring keynote by CEO Mr Sudeep Gupta. Welcoming over 150 participants from across 61 branches, Mr. Gupta reflected on the companyโs recent 10th-anniversary milestone as a springboard for the future.

- Digital Transformation: Achieving a 60%+ digital loan collection rate, supported by the successful pilot of the new MMQR system.
- Savings Milestones: Reaching MMK 58 billion in savings mobilisation, providing clients with greater opportunities for financial planning.
Investing in the “SATHAPANA Family”
A major theme of the workshop was the companyโs commitment to its people. The CEO detailed significant investments made by the Head Office to improve the working environment, including:
- Enhanced Compensation: Substantial increases in salaries and benefits (data, travel, and accommodation allowances) for frontline staff.

- Capacity Building: Intensive, role-based in-person training at the Head Office for branch-level leadership and operations teams.

The leadership team, including DCEO Mr Yuji Muto, outlined the shift from a lending-focused institution to a comprehensive financial service provider. This transition is marked by the launch of the Loyal Account-Saving Plan and a strategic life insurance partnership with Capital Taiyo, designed to offer clients holistic protection and growth.
