The Branch Management Meeting 2019.

SATHAPANA Limited held its 2019’s Branch Management workshop on February 10 at Pristine Lotus Spa Resort, Inle Lake in Southern Shan State. At the workshop, Executives and managements from Head Quarter and Branches presented.
The meeting was opened with the welcoming speech of Mr. Seang Serey, CEO. In his speech, the CEO addressed that the branch management workshop was very important as it created opportunities for all to do networking, learning from the past and the future, and hearing the feedbacks to for better and proper solutions. It was also good chance for all participants to share and to cheer the achievements together.
Myanmar is one of the potential countries not only in Asia for doing businesses, but also in the world where investors eying on the investments in the country and microfinance is one of the important business sectors for investors, according to Mr. Serey.
SATHAPANA has proofed to be the second largest microfinance institution in term of loan portfolio outstanding within two years and a half among 177 MFIs, in a such fierce competitive market like Myanmar. SATHAPANA is doing its business operation in 9 regions and states with 32 operational branches and providing financial service to more than 220,000 clients with loan outstanding of (67) billions MMK.
Besides, the workshop allowed the executives to share last year achievements and next year and next five-year strategic plan for the management and staff to be well prepared for actions and to hear concerns and requests of the participant. The workshop also marked the best branches and staff in the company’s history with awarding ceremony where the room was bursting with surprise and excitement.
The workshop was closed in the same day with the closing remark of the CEO. He mentioned that the workshop is crucially important, both theories and practices, to respond to the needs of all stakeholders, especially management and staffs of SATHAPANA limited and he encouraged all participants to work harder as a team for better achievements in years ahead and finally to be the position of the market leader to align with company’s vision and mission.
