SATHAPANA Ltd and Capital Taiyo Insurance Limited Partnership Launch Event

SATHAPANA Limited and Capital Taiyo Life Insurance Limited held a “Partnership Launch Event” on 20 February 2025 at PARKROYAL Hotel to introduce a new Bancassurance Service for the people of Myanmar. Senior management from both organisations attended the event.
Mr. Yan Paing Soe Oo, CEO of Capital Taiyo Insurance Limited, delivered an opening speech. He first celebrated the successful partnership with SATHAPANA Limited Myanmar and briefly introduced Capital Taiyo Life Insurance Limited. In his speech, he emphasised that life insurance is more than just a product, it is a promise that can create a real impact on individuals, families, and communities across Myanmar. He added that financial inclusion also encompasses protection, leading to greater security, financial stability for clients, and a more resilient economy. He pointed out that access to protection is not a privilege but a right for everyone. Through this strong partnership, he expressed confidence that innovative solutions would be provided to clients, helping to secure their future. He assured Capital Taiyo Life Insurance Limited would listen to clients’ voices, stay attentive to changes in the financial sector, and work closely with its partner, SATHAPANA Limited. He concluded his remarks with a firm commitment to building a better future together.
Mr. Sudeep Gupta, CEO of SATHAPANA Limited, gave the speech next. He stated that today marked a significant milestone that reflected collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to financial empowerment between SATHAPANA Limited and Capital Taiyo Life Insurance Limited, paving the way for a new chapter in accessible financial solutions. Mr. Gupta addressed the challenges individuals and businesses face in Myanmar’s economic landscape. He emphasised the commitment to offering a safety net that empowers clients. Mr Gupta also highlighted the future collaboration, stating that this partnership aims to drive innovation and provide comprehensive financial solutions, ensuring economic independence and success for clients.
Mr. Gupta acknowledged that this event would not have been possible without the dedication and expertise of the teams of both companies and expressed gratitude for their hard work, excellence, innovation, and customer-centric solutions. Mr Gupta thanked everyone for participating in the launch event and witnessing this significant step forward, appreciated their continued support, and expressed his hopes for shaping a stronger and more resilient financial future together.
The event progressed as scheduled, followed by a speech of gratitude from the Executive Officer of Capital Taiyo’s Bancassurance Department and a presentation on product introduction and future collaboration by the Senior Head of Marketing from SATHAPANA Limited.
The event concluded with both CEOs signing the partnership agreement, the executive members from both companies exchanging gifts, and snacks and refreshments being served.
