 Position Summary

The Social Performance Management and Research Unit Officer is responsible to support social performance and marketing research functions like managing of social welfare program, conducting market survey and study such as competitor’s activities, operational area expansion survey, client satisfaction survey, poverty probability index (PPI) survey and so on. He/or she will be responsible for conducting survey as per the guidelines by Unit Manager. And he/she will be partly responsible for other social services and the implementation of CSR activities.

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receiving social welfare claims from branches, check thoroughly, seek the approval from management, and sending the approved claims back to branches on daily basis.
  • Maintaining proper records for social welfare program, prepare report, and submit to management on monthly basis.
  • Coordinate with branches for any issue on Client’s Social Welfare, and provide the solutions.
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative surveys such as social impact assessment, progress out of poverty Index (PPI), client satisfaction survey which may involve field interview of focus group and secondary data assessments (According to the guidelines of Unit Manager).
  • Conducting the survey on competitors and their products and report to management.
  • Conducting the ground feasibility study on operational area expansion, and new branch expansion plan in the field.
  • Assisting to Integrated Marketing Unit for social and CSR activities (If be needed).
  • Be willing and ready to contribute and assist wherever needed.
  • Qualifications;
  • Any graduates (with diploma or certificate of marketing is an advantage)
  • Earlier experiences in research will be an advantage.
  • Sociable, happy in helping people
  • Good emotional control.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • Good English language and Computer Literate.
  • Reporting
  • He/she will report to Social Impact Assessment and Research Unit Manager for day to day actions and activities, and he/she will report directly to head of department in the absence of unit manager. The reporting requirements will be as below.
    • Up-dates and Briefing – Any up-date and progress of existing works can be reported briefly and verbally to respective unit manager and head of department as situation required.


    • Proposals and Activity Plans – The prior written approval must be taken from unit manager and head of department for any kind of activities proposals, mission plan, expenses, etc.


    • Monthly written Reports – The monthly written reports must be submitted to head of department for monthly social welfare list report. Other reports like PPI, customer satisfaction survey, operational area expansion survey, disaster impact survey etc will have to be submitted as scheduled and required.
